Bathroom Adaptions

Bathing in comfort and style

One of life’s great pleasures is relaxing in a hot bath or easing away aches and pains with a steaming shower.

But it’s not quite so enjoyable when you’re worried about slipping, or how you’re going to get out of the bath, but with our wide range of adaptions mean you can regain your independence and dignity. That’s why Active Mobility has partnered with Companion Bathing who has specially selected a range of products designed to put the ease and comfort back into bathing at a reasonable price.

Take advantage of our free, no obligation at home assessment. Our trained advisors can offer home visits to discuss your needs and the various options there is available to you.

Our range of products are designed to put the ease and comfort back in to bathing.  We have an extensive range of walk-in baths and showers, with a variety of options to suit your bathroom and your budget.

Easy access Showers

Easy Access Showers are ideal for replacing a conventional bath. These come in a variety of tray sizes to suit your needs. You can use either existing shower or choose a new thermostatically controlled mixer or electric shower.

Wet Rooms

Wet Rooms are ideal if having even a slight step into the shower is problematic, making wheelchair access much easier. With no shower tray, it’s simply a case of walking or wheeling in and out and with a wet room there is more space with a bath or shower tray taking up valuable space. Plus, they are also very practical and easy to clean.

There are a wide range of options to choose from to suit your needs and your home. Again, you can use either existing shower or choose a new thermostatically controlled mixer or electric shower.

Walk-in Baths

Walk-in Baths are ideal if you still want to have the benefit of a bath but struggle to lift your legs to be able to get into your bath. There are several designs to choose from, so you sure to find the right walk-in bath for you. Our friendly trained advisors can advise you of the best option for you.

To compliment your new shower or walk-in bath there is a wide range of options, extras and accessories to choose from.

What does a home survey involve?

A Companion Bathing surveyor will visit to discuss your needs and to identify which products are most suitable for you and your bathroom. The visit will take 60-90 minutes and is completely free, without obligation to buy.  You will be left with information and written quotation.

The surveyor/advisor will go through a series of questions to find out not only your current needs and requirements, but what will be beneficial in the future.  This ensures that when the product is installed, it is ideal for you and your bathroom and in the future.

Guarantee

All installation work is guaranteed for a minimum of 12 months. All products supplied have a manufacturers guarantee.

How much does this cost?

Companion Bathing prices start at approximately £4000, but the exact price will depend on the products you choose and the layout of your bathroom.  The easiest way to find out the exact price will be to arrange a free, no-obligation home survey.
