The Ottobock Juvo B4 is a rear-wheel drive electric wheelchair, also known as a powerchair, designed to be set up for the person using it, from the seat and backrest to the controls.

At under 60 cm wide it fits through narrow doorways and along hallways, and it slides under tables and desks.   Seat width, depth, back height and arm height all adjust, with contoured and custom seating available. Good posture means less pain, less fatigue and better breathing over a long day in the chair.

Worth knowing before you buy

The Juvo B4 is a modular chair, so the final specification and price depend on the seating, controls and batteries chosen. That is why we recommend an assessment first. It weighs from 93.5 kg, so it does not fold or go in a car boot and needs a vehicle with a ramp or lift for transport. Rear-wheel drive chairs need a little more room to turn than mid-wheel drive chairs, so if you mainly use your chair in very tight spaces indoors, ask us about a mid-wheel drive option.

It is available at 6, 7.2 or 10 km/h, which is about 4, 4.5 or 6 mph.

Can I get tilt-in-space on it?
Yes. A 20 degree tilt is standard and a 45 degree power tilt is available as an option.
