Welcome to Stratford Shopmobility – Making Getting Around Easier
We’re here to help you explore Stratford-upon-Avon with comfort and confidence. Stratford Shopmobility offers free hire of mobility scooters, wheelchairs, and walking aids to anyone who needs them. Whether you’re a local resident or visiting the area, we’re ready to support you.
How It Works
Registering is easy! Just bring two forms of ID (including one photo ID) and we’ll set you up. Our friendly staff will guide you through everything so you feel comfortable and ready to go. If you’re new to using mobility aids, don’t worry – we’re happy to show you how it all works.
Where to Find Us
We’re conveniently located on Level 2 of the Bridgeway Car Park, near the Blue Badge bays. Blue Badge holders can park for free – just bring your Blue Badge into Shopmobility to register your vehicle for free parking.

Our Funding
Stratford Shopmobility is a non-profit organization, with all funds going toward the running of the scheme, improving our services, and updating equipment. Fundraising is essential to cover costs, and we host a Christmas tombola with generous donations from local businesses, suppliers, and trustees. If you can donate prizes, we’d be very grateful!
By visiting and purchasing tombola tickets, you’ll be supporting our scheme and have a chance to win great prizes. We’re also thankful to Stratford District Council for providing our premises rent-free.
