Donate to Stratford Shopmobility
Stratford Shopmobility lends scooters and wheelchairs so local people and visitors can get into town, do their shopping and see the place properly. It's run as a charity, and it keeps going because people give.

What your donation does
Shopmobility charges nothing for a day's hire. Keeping that going means keeping a fleet of scooters and wheelchairs safe, charged and ready, and that's where donations go.
Keeps the fleet running
Servicing, repairs, tyres and batteries. Equipment that's out on loan all week needs looking after.
Replaces worn-out equipment
Scooters and wheelchairs don't last forever. Donations help replace the ones that have come to the end of their life.
Keeps it free to use
So that anyone who needs a hand getting around town can have one, whatever their circumstances.
Give by card

Donate a scooter or wheelchair
If you have a mobility scooter or wheelchair you no longer need, donating it is one of the most useful things you can do. Shopmobility are always incredibly grateful for them.
What happens to it
Depending on its condition, your scooter or wheelchair may be serviced and added to the hire fleet for customers to use. Where that isn't practical, it's used for parts to keep other equipment safely on the road.
Either way it helps Shopmobility carry on providing an affordable service to people who need support staying mobile and independent.
How to donate one
Send us a few photos and a short description — make, model, rough age and condition — and we'll let you know whether it's something Shopmobility can use.
About the charity
Stratford Shopmobility is supported by The Friends of Stratford Shopmobility, a registered charity in England and Wales, number 1163072. Its purpose is to provide scooters and wheelchairs so that local people and visitors can get into town to shop or sightsee.
The service is run day to day by Active Mobility from Level 2 of the Bridgeway multi storey car park. Donations made on this page go to the charity, not to Active Mobility.
