The Karma Morgan M Lectus is a mid-wheel-drive powerchair that tries to give you both: rehab seating with powered tilt and recline, on a base narrow enough for indoor life.

Its six-wheel independent suspension smooths out paths and slopes outside, and the Lectus seat can recline with the legrests raised until you're lying flat. That makes resting, pressure relief and hoist transfers easier through the day.

Worth knowing before you buy

This is a substantial clinical chair, around 155 kg before batteries, so it isn't designed to go in a car and needs level or ramped access. It's specified to each person, so a seating assessment comes first. If you don't need powered tilt and recline, a standard sling-seat or captain's-seat powerchair will be lighter, simpler and cost less.
