Worth knowing before you buy

The Boston is a specialist healthcare chair, set up around the user's needs, so we always recommend an assessment first. It isn't a riser chair — it won't lift someone to standing — so if the person can stand and walk with a little help, a riser recliner may suit them better. With a seat height of around 63.5 cm it's designed for carers to transfer the user in and out, rather than for sitting down independently.

Yes. It has four heavy-duty lockable castors, a push handle with rubber grips and wing handles for steering.
