The Invacare TDX SP2 NB Ultra brings powered tilt and powered recline together on Invacare's narrow mid-wheel drive base.

It's an electric wheelchair (also known as a powerchair) for people with complex postural needs living in an ordinary-sized home. The narrow base helps through doorways, and the Ultra Low Maxx seating supports you properly all day.

Worth knowing before you buy

This specialist chair is set up for you after an assessment. At around 164 kg it won't go in a car boot, so travel means a wheelchair-accessible vehicle. It suits pavements and paths rather than fields. If you don't need powered tilt and recline, a simpler mid-wheel drive chair costs far less; for a higher weight limit, look at a heavy-duty model.

Yes, it is crash tested to ISO 7176-19 and has a 4-point tie-down. Your vehicle and restraints need to be suitable too, so please check with your vehicle supplier.
