Room to relax, and gentle help to stand when you're ready

If you're tall or broad-shouldered, many riser chairs feel cramped, and getting up from a low armchair can be a daily struggle. The Cosi Ambassador in Large gives you a roomier seat with deep, plump cushioning, plus a smooth powered lift that helps you to your feet without straining your knees or hips.

It also tilts the whole seat back, so you can rest with your weight spread evenly — lovely for an afternoon nap or a long evening in front of the television. Made in Britain and built to last.

✅ Key Features & Benefits

• Tilt-in-space with dual motors
The whole seat tilts back as one, keeping your hips and knees at the same angle while taking pressure off your bottom and lower back. Two motors let you move the back and footrest separately, so you find the exact position that eases your aches.

• Variable Angle Lift
The rising movement can be set at the angle that suits you, so standing feels steady and natural rather than tipping you forward too fast — a real help if your balance is unsure.

• Large size for a roomier fit
The biggest of three sizes, so taller and larger frames get proper support without feeling squeezed.

• Deep waterfall back cushions
Soft, generous layered cushions support your head, back and lower back — comforting if you live with back pain.

• Hybrid pocket sprung seat
Springy and supportive, so you don't sink in, which makes getting comfortable and getting up easier.

• 5-year guarantee
Frame, mechanisms and all the electrics are covered for five years, for real peace of mind.

• Arm covers and headrest cover included
Wash them every now and then to keep the chair looking fresh.

Colours available

Kilburn Cocoa, Kilburn Mink, Kilburn Oatmeal, Kilburn Plum, Spray Cocoa, Spray Mink, Spray Oatmeal and Spray Plum. Over 500 more fabrics, and leather, can be made to order.

Who it suits best

• Taller or larger people who find standard chairs cramped
• Anyone who struggles to stand from a normal armchair
• People who spend long periods sitting and need pressure relief

Worth knowing before you buy

Getting the size right matters: if you're shorter, the Large seat may leave your feet off the floor and your back unsupported, so the Small or Medium Ambassador would fit better. If you don't need the tilt feature, a simpler dual-motor riser recliner will cost less.

Questions customers ask us

How do I know which size I need?
It depends on your height, hip width and leg length. We'll measure you and recommend the right size — a home assessment is free.

Can I sit in one first?
Yes. We don't keep every size and fabric in stock, so call first and we'll check — if it isn't here, we can usually arrange a demo model.
