Supportive side-to-side comfort with a gentle lift to your feet

If you tend to lean or slump to one side when you sit for a while, or you simply need more support than a standard riser chair gives, the Cosi Jubilee Large is worth a close look. Its lateral back has shaped cushions that hold you upright at the sides, while the powered lift helps you stand without straining.

The Large is the roomiest of three sizes, for taller and broader people. It tilts the whole seat back for proper rest and raises your legs high — a comfortable, British-made chair you can spend the day in.

✅ Key Features & Benefits

• Lateral back with adjustable cushions
Side support keeps you sitting upright and centred, and the back cushions can be adjusted — helpful if you lean to one side, tire easily or have weakness down one side.

• Dual-motor tilt-in-space
The seat and back tilt together so you rest without sliding forward, spreading your weight to ease pressure on your bottom and lower back.

• Variable Angle Lift
The rise can be set at the angle that feels steadiest for you, so standing up is controlled and confident.

• High leg elevation
Lifts your legs well up, which many people find comfortable for swollen ankles or tired, heavy legs.

• Large size for a roomier fit
A wider, deeper seat so taller and larger people are supported without feeling squeezed.

• Hybrid pocket sprung seat and pleated wings
Comfortable, springy seating with a classic look, plus arm covers and a headrest cover included.

• 5-year guarantee
Frame, mechanisms and all electrics are covered for five years.

Colours available

Kilburn Cocoa, Kilburn Mink, Kilburn Oatmeal, Kilburn Plum, Kilburn Sky and Kilburn Slate Grey. Over 500 further fabrics, and leather, can be made to order.

Who it suits best

• Taller or larger people who need extra postural support
• Anyone who leans or slumps sideways when seated
• People who sit for most of the day and need pressure relief

Worth knowing before you buy

The Jubilee is a more supportive, specialist chair than a standard riser recliner, so if you only need help standing and putting your feet up, a simpler dual-motor riser will do the job for less. If you're of average height or shorter, the Large may be too big — ask about the smaller sizes. For complex postural needs, a healthcare chair may be the better route.

Questions customers ask us

What does a lateral back do?
It has shaped side supports that help keep your body upright and in the middle of the chair, rather than drifting to one side.

Can I try the Jubilee?
Yes. We don't keep every model and size in stock, so call first and we'll check — if it isn't here, we can usually arrange a demo model. A free home assessment is also available.
