Getting out of a low, soft armchair can be one of the hardest moments of the day — especially with stiff knees or hips. The Dallux Nevis Dual Motor gently lifts you towards standing at the touch of a button, then lets you recline and raise your legs to exactly the position that feels right.

Because it has two motors, the backrest and the footrest move separately. You can sit upright to eat or chat with your legs raised, or lie back fully for a nap — your chair works around you, not the other way round. It comes in two sizes and five colours, and every chair is hand-finished and quality-tested in the UK by Dallux.

Worth knowing before you buy

Like any riser recliner, the Nevis needs a nearby plug socket and some space behind and in front of it to recline and lift. If you'd like a powered headrest, the Nevis Triple Motor adds one; the Four Motor also adds powered lumbar support, heat and massage. None of the Nevis chairs tilt in space, so if you slide forward when reclining or sit for most of the day, ask us about tilt-in-space chairs.

Questions customers ask us

What's the difference between dual motor and single motor?
A single motor moves the back and footrest together. With dual motor they move independently, so you can raise your legs while sitting upright.

Which size do I need?
Sit with your back right in: your feet should rest flat on the floor with your knees about level with your hips. Measure from the floor to the back of your knee — the Petite has a 44 cm seat height and the Standard 48 cm. If you're on the shorter side, the Petite is usually the better fit, and we're happy to help you measure.
