Every Hampton is made in Britain to your own measurements. You choose the mechanism, then the fabric, so the chair fits your body, suits your room and helps you stand up and put your feet up with ease.

Worth knowing before you buy

Because the Hampton is made to order, you'll need to wait for it to be built, and it's measured to one person, so it's less suitable if several people will use it. The wall hugger mechanism saves space but can feel a little less steady when fully raised. If you need a chair quickly, ask us about ready-made riser recliners.

Can it take a heavier user?
Yes. Heavy duty mechanisms are available for up to 40 stone, and bariatric versions for 50 to 70 stone.

Can I try one before ordering?
We don't keep every chair in stock, so give us a call first and we'll check what's in the showroom — if there isn't one, we can usually arrange a demo model. We also offer free home assessments to get the measurements right.
