This pre-owned Invacare Comet Pro is a full-size road scooter with an 8 mph top speed, suspension and a fully adjustable captain's seat, built for longer days out in comfort.

This particular scooter is in as-new condition and has hardly been used. Its battery, bodywork and tyres were all rated green, our top grade, so you get a big, capable scooter for much less than new.

Worth knowing before you buy

The Comet Pro is a big scooter: about 145 cm long, 66 cm wide and 136 kg, with the heaviest piece, the base, around 65 kg. It isn't one to lift into a car boot, so if you need to travel by car, a lightweight boot scooter is a better choice. You'll need a garage, shed or scooter store with power for charging. As a Class 3 scooter it must be registered with the DVLA (free) before use on the road. This is a single pre-owned scooter, so once it's sold it's gone.

Can I use it on the pavement too?
Yes. On pavements, Class 3 scooters must be switched to 4 mph, which is easy to do.
