The long, wide ramp for high vehicle floors and tall steps

When the floor of the vehicle is high or the step at home is tall, a longer ramp is the safe way to bridge the gap. The Enable Access Aerolight Broadfold 210 cm is the longest Broadfold we sell, giving the gentlest slope in the range while keeping the full width that big scooters and electric wheelchairs need.

It folds in half to 110 x 19 x 76 cm for storage and weighs about 14.9 kg. It's rated for up to 300 kg (47 st), and four rigid handles help two people share the lift.

✅ Key Features & Benefits

• Longest Broadfold for the gentlest run
Spreads a high rise over 210 cm, so driving up or pushing up is more controlled.

• Full-width lip that sits on the vehicle
Locates securely on the sill or step, giving a steady platform while you load.

• Folds in half
Packs down to 110 cm long for keeping in a van, garage or shed.

• Rated to 300 kg (47 st)
Suits most scooters and powerchairs — just check the combined weight of chair or scooter and rider.

• Four rigid handles
Makes a long ramp easier to carry and position, especially with a helper.

• Wide 76 cm deck
No narrow channels to line up — ideal for wide-based scooters.

• Grip surface edge to edge
Traction for tyres and feet in wet weather.

• 2-year manufacturer's warranty
  Backed by Enable Access.

Who it suits best

• High vehicle floors, such as vans and minibuses
• Tall steps where a shorter ramp would be too steep
• Carers and families who load together

Worth knowing before you buy

This is a big, heavy ramp at around 15 kg, and over a metre long even when folded, so it isn't ideal if you need to lift it alone or have a small car. Its maximum load is 300 kg, a little lower than the shorter Broadfolds, so check your scooter and your own weight together. For a permanent entrance at home, a fixed ramp may be a better long-term choice — we can talk you through it.

Questions customers ask us

What's the maximum weight it takes?
300 kg (47 st), which includes the scooter or wheelchair and the person using it.

Do I really need a ramp this long?
Only if the height is high. Tell us the height of the vehicle floor or step and we'll help you choose the shortest length that gives a safe slope.

Can I see how it folds before I buy?
Yes. We don't keep every size in stock, so give us a call first and we'll check — and if it isn't here, we can usually arrange a demo for you.
