Step-free at home, then folded neatly out of the way

Many people need a ramp at the front door but don't want it lying across the path all day. The Enable Access Aerolight Xtra 120 cm gives you a full-width, gentle slope over a typical front step, then folds in half and clips shut so it can be stood in the hall or a cupboard until you need it again.

It weighs about 8.2 kg and folds to a slim 42 cm wide by 10 cm deep. That makes it just as useful in the car boot as it is at home, for wheelchair users, scooter riders and anyone helping them.

✅ Key Features & Benefits

• Gentle slope over a front step
At 120 cm long it spreads out the rise, so wheeling up or being pushed takes far less effort.

• Folds and clips away
When you're done, fold it in half and the positive clip holds it shut — no ramp left in the way.

• Full 76 cm surface
Plenty of room for scooter tyres, wheelchair wheels or walking frames.

• About 8.2 kg
Light for its length, so most people or a carer can move it easily.

• Flat underside hinge
Helps the ramp sit closer to the step for a smoother transition at the top.

• Raised kerb edges
Help keep wheels safely on the ramp.

• Weatherproof anti-slip deck
Keeps its grip in rain as well as sunshine.

• Made in Britain
Built in the UK by Enable Access.

Who it suits best

• Front doors where you don't want a ramp left out
• Wheelchair and scooter users, and their carers
• People who also want a ramp to take in the car

Worth knowing before you buy

For a step that's higher than a usual front doorstep, or for several steps, a longer ramp or a permanent installation will be safer. And while it's light for its size, 8 kg is still a bit to lift if your own strength is limited — a shorter Xtra is easier to handle. We'll gladly help you weigh it up.

Questions customers ask us

Where can I store it?
Folded, it's only 42 cm wide and 10 cm deep, so it stands neatly in a hallway, cupboard or car boot.

Can I join two ramps together?
Enable Access makes a joining accessory for longer full-width ramps, and a threshold accessory for uPVC door sills — ask us about them.

Can I see it fold before I buy?
Yes. We don't keep every size in stock, so give us a call first and we'll check — and if it isn't here, we can usually arrange a demo for you.
