Reach higher entrances safely with a long, full-width folding ramp

Some front doors sit well above the path — a tall step, a raised porch or a doorway with a deep sill. A short ramp there would be far too steep. The Enable Access Aerolight Xtra 180 cm gives you the extra length to turn a high entrance into a slope you can actually manage in a wheelchair or on a scooter.

It weighs about 11.9 kg and folds in half into a narrow suitcase shape, 42 cm wide and 10 cm deep, so it can be stored upright when it isn't in use.

✅ Key Features & Benefits

• 180 cm for higher steps
The extra length keeps the slope manageable on taller entrances, so going up and down feels safer.

• Full 76 cm width
Generous room for wheelchairs and scooters, with less chance of a wheel drifting to the edge.

• Folds and clips shut
Fold it lengthways and the positive clip keeps it closed, so it stores in a slim space.

• Raised kerb safety edges
Help keep wheels where they should be all the way up.

• Flat hinge underneath
Lets the ramp sit well against the step for a smoother finish at the top.

• Grippy deck in all weathers
The anti-slip surface helps prevent wheels spinning and feet slipping on wet days.

• Reflective end caps
Easy to see in low light.

• Made in Britain
Built in the UK by Enable Access.

Who it suits best

• Raised porches and taller doorsteps
• Wheelchair and scooter users at home
• Households where a carer helps set the ramp out

Worth knowing before you buy

At nearly 12 kg and 180 cm long, this ramp is best set up by someone reasonably strong, and it needs a clear, level landing space at the bottom. It isn't really a ramp to carry in and out of the car every day. For very high entrances used every day, a permanent ramp or a step lift may be the better long-term choice — we're happy to talk through the options.

Questions customers ask us

How heavy is it to lift?
About 11.9 kg. Most adults can manage it, but if you'd struggle, a shorter ramp or a permanent solution may suit you better.

Can I use it with a powerchair?
Yes. The full-width deck suits electric wheelchairs as well as scooters, provided the combined weight is within the ramp's rating.

Can I see it fold before I buy?
Yes. We don't keep every size in stock, so give us a call first and we'll check — and if it isn't here, we can usually arrange a demo for you.
