Our longest Aerolight Xtra, for the trickiest high steps

When there's a really high step between you and the outside world, length is what makes a ramp safe to use. The Enable Access Aerolight Xtra 210 cm is the longest size we offer in this range, giving a much gentler slope over high doorsteps and raised entrances for wheelchairs and scooters.

Despite its length it still folds in half and clips shut, into a slim 42 cm wide by 10 cm deep shape that weighs about 13.7 kg. That means it can be stood out of the way between uses instead of taking over the hallway.

✅ Key Features & Benefits

• Maximum length, gentlest slope
At 210 cm it eases the climb on high steps, which is safer for you and much easier for anyone pushing.

• Full-width 76 cm deck
Space for scooters and powerchairs, so you can focus on going straight rather than lining up tracks.

• Folds lengthways into a slim case
Takes up little room when stored, despite being a long ramp.

• Positive clip mechanism
Keeps it securely shut while it's carried or stood upright.

• Higher kerb edges
Help keep wheels safely on the ramp along its whole length.

• Anti-slip surface
Steady grip for wheels and feet in wet or dry weather.

• Reflective end caps
  Clearly visible after dark.

• Made in Britain
Manufactured by Enable Access in the UK.

Who it suits best

• Very high doorsteps and raised entrances
• Scooter and electric wheelchair users
• Homes with space to set out a long ramp

Worth knowing before you buy

This is a big ramp: about 13.7 kg and over two metres long when open. It needs a clear, level area at the bottom and usually a second pair of hands to place it. If you'll use it many times a day, a permanent ramp or a step lift may be more practical. If your step isn't that high, a shorter Xtra will be lighter and simpler.

Questions customers ask us

Is it too heavy for me to manage?
At about 13.7 kg, many people prefer a carer or family member to set it out. If you need to handle it alone, talk to us about a shorter or permanent option.

Can it be used to get a scooter into a vehicle?
It's a general-purpose access ramp. Tell us about your vehicle and scooter and we'll help you check whether it suits, or suggest an alternative.

Can I see it fold before I buy?
Yes. We don't keep every size in stock, so give us a call first and we'll check — and if it isn't here, we can usually arrange a demo for you.
