A cut-to-fit rubber ramp for awkward doorways

Not every doorway is a standard size. Narrow back doors, internal doors in older houses and odd gaps between a hallway and a conservatory often leave you with a lip of 5 cm or more and no ramp that quite fits. The Enable Access Doorline Neatedge in this 5.7 cm size is the flexible option: a piece of rubber ramp you trim to suit the space you have.

It gives a firm, soft-surfaced slope over a 5.7 cm rise for wheelchairs, scooters and walking frames, with nothing to screw or drill. Once it is cut to size, it simply sits in place across the threshold.

✅ Key Features & Benefits

• Trim it to your doorway
Enable Access describe this size as a one-size-fits-all option you cut to size, so unusual widths are not a problem.

• Takes a 5.7 cm rise
Slightly taller than many standard door lips, which suits older back doors and raised internal thresholds.

• Rated to 500 kg (79 st)
Tough enough for an electric wheelchair or scooter with the rider aboard.

• Soft, non-slip rubber
Wheels grip well and it is comfortable to walk over, which helps if you are unsteady on your feet.

• No fixing needed
Lay it across the threshold, or fix it permanently with the optional rubber ramp adhesive kit.

• Easy to keep clean
A wipe with a damp cloth and mild detergent is all it needs.

Who it suits best

• Narrow or non-standard doorways where fixed-size ramps won't fit
• Internal thresholds, such as into a conservatory or utility room
• Wheelchair, scooter and rollator users at home

Worth knowing before you buy

This piece is compact, so check its measurements against your doorway before ordering, and be ready to trim it with a sharp blade. Unlike most Neatedge sizes, its sides are not chamfered, so it is best laid edge-to-edge within a door frame rather than in an open space where someone could catch a foot. If your doorway is a standard width, a ready-made 90 cm Neatedge is the simpler choice.

Questions customers ask us

How do I cut it?
Measure the opening carefully and trim the rubber to that width. If you would rather we look at the doorway first, we can arrange a home visit.

Will it work with my scooter?
Yes. It is rated to 500 kg (79 st) and is designed for wheelchairs, scooters, other mobility aids and people on foot.

Can I have a look at it first?
We don't hold every size in the showroom, so please ring us first and we'll check. If it isn't in, we can usually arrange a demo model.
