Take the bump out of the back-door lip

A 5 cm lip at the back or patio door doesn't look like much, until you are trying to get a wheelchair over it with a cup of tea, or your rollator wheels stop dead and tip you forward. The Enable Access Doorline Neatedge in its 5 cm height turns that lip into a soft, gradual rubber slope.

At 40 cm long and 90 cm wide it fits neatly across most single doors without taking over the step. It weighs 11 kg, so it stays where you lay it but can still be moved by one person if you need to sweep underneath or change doors.

✅ Key Features & Benefits

• Made for the everyday 5 cm lip
A typical height for back, patio and garden door sills, so getting outside for some fresh air stops being a chore.

• Neat 40 cm footprint
Short enough not to clutter a narrow path or step, yet long enough to give a smooth roll.

• Soft rubber that grips
Kind underfoot if you walk with a frame or stick, and grippy for wheelchair tyres.

• Chamfered sides
The edges slope away, so there is no hard corner to trip on or clip with a castor.

• Rated to 500 kg (79 st)
Takes powered chairs and scooters with ease, as well as trolleys and bins.

• Trim to fit
If your doorway is narrower than 90 cm, the rubber can be cut down to match.

• Loose-lay or fix
Lay it in place straight from the box, or use the optional adhesive kit for a permanent job.

Who it suits best

• Anyone whose back or patio door has a lip of about 5 cm
• Rollator and walking frame users who catch their wheels on the sill
• Wheelchair users heading into the garden every day

Worth knowing before you buy

Measure the lip before you order. If it is lower, a smaller Neatedge will sit flatter; if it is nearer 7 or 8 cm, the 7.5 cm size will give you a smoother ride. This is a lay-down ramp rather than one to carry in a car, so if you need something for visiting family, a lightweight portable ramp is a better fit.

Questions customers ask us

Can it go in a wet room?
Yes — Enable Access list wet rooms and showers among the places Neatedge is used, and it wipes clean with a damp cloth.

Can I see it before buying?
We don't keep every size in stock, so please call first and we'll check for you. If it isn't here, we can usually arrange a demo model.
