A longer, gentler ramp for taller steps

When the step at your door is higher than most, a short ramp turns into a steep climb that's hard work for a carer and unsettling on a scooter. The 150cm Enable Access Metro Folding Ramp gives you the extra length to take the edge off that slope, so going in and out of the house feels calm and controlled again.

Even at this size it still folds in half like a suitcase, to just 38cm wide, and weighs around 11.5kg. That makes it a practical choice when you want a long ramp that can still be put away.

✅ Key Features & Benefits

• 150cm length for higher steps
The longer run means a shallower climb, which matters most when the step is tall or the person pushing isn't as strong as they used to be.

• Still folds away
Closes lengthways to 150cm by 38cm, so it can lean against a wall or slide into a shed or garage when you don't need it.

• Supports up to 270 kg (42 st)
Strong enough for heavier electric wheelchairs and scooters with a rider, giving confidence on every trip up and down.

• Single 72cm-wide deck
A full-width ramp rather than two narrow channels, so you don't have to steer each wheel onto its own track.

• Suits every kind of user
Enable Access design it for wheelchairs, powerchairs, scooters, rollators and people walking, so the whole household can share it.

• UK-made with a year's warranty
Manufactured in Britain by Enable Access to their patented design, with a 12-month warranty.

Who it suits best

• Homes with a taller-than-average front or back step
• Electric wheelchair and scooter users who want a gentle slope
• Carers who find shorter ramps too steep to push up

Worth knowing before you buy

At about 11.5kg and 150cm folded, this isn't a ramp to carry around every day, and it won't fit in a small car boot. If you mainly want a ramp for days out, a 60cm or 90cm version will be easier to handle. If it will stay at one door, a height-adjustable relocatable ramp may be more convenient.

Questions customers ask us

Can one person lift it?
Most people can manage it — it weighs about 11.5kg and folds in half. If lifting is difficult, a shorter length or a semi-permanent ramp may suit you better.

Where can I store it?
Folded, it's 150cm long and 38cm wide, so it stands upright in a hallway, porch, shed or garage.

How do I know if I need 150cm?
Measure your step height and give us a call. We'll talk through who's using the ramp and help you choose the length that gives a comfortable slope.
