Worth knowing before you buy

The Permaramp Original rests on the threshold, so it isn't the right choice for most uPVC door sills, which shouldn't take the weight. For a uPVC door, the self-supporting Permaramp Adjust is the better option. At 12kg it's also meant to stay in place, so you'll want a light folding ramp for trips out.
