If you push yourself in a manual wheelchair, you'll know how quickly hills, long pavements and rough paths wear out your shoulders. The Triride Base attaches a powered front wheel to your chair, so the motor does the hard work and you keep the chair you already know.

It's the entry model in the Triride range — light, simple to use and happy indoors or out, whether that's the shops, the canal path or the park with family.

Worth knowing before you buy

The Base is the starter model, so it's built for everyday routes rather than steep, muddy or off-road ground. If you live somewhere very hilly or want to explore rough tracks, one of the higher-torque or off-road Triride models will suit you better. It doesn't fold, so for travel a folding power add-on is the better choice. Every Triride needs to be matched to your wheelchair, so we'll want to check your chair first.

Questions customers ask us

Is there a version if I have limited hand function?
Yes. Triride offers a Tetra version with controls adapted for people with reduced grip or hand movement. Ask us and we'll talk it through with you.

Can I try one before I buy?
Yes. We don't always have every Triride in stock, so please call first and we'll check — if it isn't here, we can usually arrange a demo model.
