Small wheel, serious pulling power for hills and tricky routes

Some power add-ons are compact but run out of puff on a steep slope; others are powerful but bulky. The Triride Special Compact HT gives you both — a small 12" wheel that's easy to live with, driven by Triride's high-torque motor, so ramps, cambers and long hills feel far less daunting.

It fits to the front of your own manual wheelchair. Choose the standard version for everyday town use, or the AllRoad version with all-terrain tyres and a carbon mudguard if you like getting off the beaten track.

✅ Key Features & Benefits

• High-torque motor (75 Nm)
Torque is the pulling force that gets you up a slope — and this is the strongest 12" Triride, so steep streets and long inclines take far less out of you.

• Compact 12" wheel
Keeps the unit small and nimble, so it's easier to turn in shops and hallways than a big-wheeled add-on.

• Normal and Sport driving modes
Keep it calm and steady around town, or switch to Sport when you want more get-up-and-go on open paths.

• Up to 50 km on a charge
A full day out, even on hillier routes, with 36 V or 48 V battery options.

• Five power levels and cruise control
Match the power to where you are, then let cruise control hold your speed so your hand can rest.

• Reverse and disc brake
Back out of tight spots easily and stop with confidence going downhill.

• AllRoad version available
All-terrain tyres and a carbon mudguard for gravel paths, grass and woodland tracks.

Who it suits best

• Manual wheelchair users who live somewhere hilly
• Anyone who wants strong power in a compact unit
• Active users who mix town trips with country paths

Worth knowing before you buy

From 11 kg, it's heavier than the entry and folding Triride models because of the bigger motor, so lifting it into a car is more work. It doesn't fold. If your routes are mostly flat, a lighter, standard-power add-on will do the job for less. Each Triride needs matching to your wheelchair, so we'll check your chair first.

Questions customers ask us

What's the difference between the standard and AllRoad versions?
The AllRoad has all-terrain tyres and a carbon mudguard for rougher ground; the standard version suits pavements and town use.

Can I try one before deciding?
We don't keep every Triride in stock, so give us a call first and we'll check — if we don't have one, we can usually arrange a demo model.
