A longer, gentler ramp for higher steps and heavier scooters

The higher the step, the steeper a short ramp gets — and a steep ramp is hard work in a wheelchair and unsettling on a scooter. The Enable Access Aerolight Classic 150 cm is the longest one-piece ramp in the Classic range, so it gives you a gentler, more comfortable slope over a taller doorstep.

It's still a single rigid length of aluminium, about 8.5 kg, so there's nothing to unfold. It suits homes where the ramp lives by the door and comes out whenever someone needs it.

✅ Key Features & Benefits

• Longest Classic for a gentler climb
The extra length makes higher steps far easier to tackle, whether you're pushing a wheelchair or driving a scooter.

• Full-width 76 cm platform
Lots of room for scooter tyres, wheelchair wheels and feet, so there's less worry about drifting off the edge.

• Solid one-piece build
No hinge in the middle, so it feels firm underfoot and under wheels.

• About 8.5 kg
Heavier than the shorter sizes but still liftable by most adults, and a carer can move it easily.

• Anti-slip surface for all weathers
A confident grip on wet mornings as well as dry days.

• Lip that locks onto the step
Helps the ramp sit squarely and stay put while you go up or down.

• Reflective end caps
Makes the ends easy to see after dark.

• Made in Britain
Manufactured in the UK by Enable Access.

Who it suits best

• Higher doorsteps where a short ramp would be too steep
• Mobility scooter riders who want a gentler approach
• Households that keep the ramp by the door

Worth knowing before you buy

This is a long, rigid ramp, so you'll need somewhere to keep it — it won't fold down for a cupboard or a car boot. If you want a ramp to travel with, look at a folding or suitcase-style ramp instead. For very high entrances, a fixed ramp may be the safer long-term answer. Tell us the step height and we'll check the slope with you.

Questions customers ask us

Is 150 cm long enough for my step?
It depends on the height of your step and whether you're wheeling yourself, being pushed or using a scooter. Give us the measurement and we'll help you check.

Can my carer push me up it?
Yes. The longer length makes the slope gentler, which is much easier for the person pushing.

Can I try it first?
Yes. We don't keep every size in stock, so give us a call first and we'll check — and if it isn't here, we can usually arrange a demo for you.
