Glide over that awkward doorstep or threshold without a bump

That small lip at the front door, the raised sill on the patio doors or the single step into the conservatory can stop a wheelchair, scooter or rollator in its tracks — or give you a jolt every time you cross it. The Enable Access Aerolight Classic 60 cm is a short, full-width ramp that turns that obstacle into a smooth slope.

It's one solid piece, so there's nothing to unfold or clip together: put it down, check it's sitting firmly and roll across. Weighing roughly 4 kg, it's easy to move from door to door or tuck away when you don't need it.

✅ Key Features & Benefits

• Ready the moment you put it down
No hinges or catches to fiddle with — ideal if your hands are stiff, or if a carer needs to set it out quickly.

• Full 76 cm width
Room for the wheels of a wheelchair, a mobility scooter or a rollator, so you're not trying to line up narrow channels.

• Light enough to carry with one hand
At roughly 4 kg it's simple to lift, move and store, even if you're not very strong.

• Grippy anti-slip surface
Gives tyres and feet a firm hold in wet or dry weather, so you feel secure going up and coming down.

• Lip that grips the step
The shaped lip sits snugly on the edge of the step or sill, helping the ramp stay put while you cross.

• Use it either way round
No top or bottom to worry about, so there's one less thing to get wrong.

• Reflective end caps
Easier to spot on dark evenings, so nobody trips over it.

• Made in Britain
Built by Enable Access in the UK.

Worth knowing before you buy

At 60 cm long, this ramp is meant for small rises only. Use it on a higher step and the slope becomes too steep to manage safely, especially in a manual wheelchair. If you're facing a taller step or more than one step, look at one of the longer Classic sizes or a folding ramp. Because it doesn't fold, it's best kept at home rather than carried around in a small car.

Questions customers ask us

Is 60 cm long enough for my step?
It's designed for low thresholds and small single steps. If you tell us the height of your step, we'll help you check whether this length gives a comfortable slope.

Will it work with uPVC door frames?
Yes. Enable Access designs the Aerolight Classic for all kinds of thresholds and doorways, including uPVC.

Can I see one first?
Yes. We don't keep every size in stock, so give us a call first and we'll check — and if it isn't here, we can usually arrange a demo for you.
