Fold it, pop it in the boot, and step-free access goes wherever you do

If you use a wheelchair or scooter, it's frustrating when one step at a shop, a church hall or a friend's house means you can't go in. The Enable Access Aerolight Xtra 90 cm gives you a ramp you can carry with you — it folds in half into a slim suitcase shape and opens out to a full-width slope in seconds.

At about 6.5 kg it's still easy to handle, and the extra length over the 60 cm size gives a gentler slope on a slightly higher step. Folded, it's only 42 cm wide and 10 cm deep, so it stores neatly in a car boot or hallway cupboard.

✅ Key Features & Benefits

Fold it shut and carry it like a slim case — handy for trips out, holidays and visits.

• 90 cm length for a kinder slope
A little more length eases the climb on a typical single step, which is easier for you or whoever is pushing.

• About 6.5 kg

• Wide 76 cm platform
Lots of room for wheelchairs, scooters and walking frames.

The positive clip keeps the halves locked together while it's carried or stored.

• Flat hinge underneath
Lets the ramp sit closer to the step for better clearance as you go over the top.

• Kerb edges and grippy surface
Raised side edges and an anti-slip deck help keep wheels on track in wet or dry weather.

Manufactured by Enable Access in the UK.

Worth knowing before you buy

The Xtra folds for carrying, so there's a hinge down the middle — if you'd rather have a single solid ramp that stays by one door, a one-piece ramp might suit you better. For taller steps, a longer Xtra will give a safer, gentler slope. Let us know your step heights and we'll help you choose the right length.

Questions customers ask us

How long does it take to set up?
Just unclip, open it out and lay it in place — there are no tools or loose parts.

Is it suitable for a scooter?
Yes. The full-width deck takes scooters as well as wheelchairs; check your scooter and your own weight together against the ramp's rating.

Can I see it fold before I buy?
Yes. We don't keep every size in stock, so give us a call first and we'll check — and if it isn't here, we can usually arrange a demo for you.
