The Mobilex Buffalo HD 62 cm solves both problems: a higher seat and taller handles, on a reinforced aluminium frame tested for users up to 31 stone (200 kg).

Even so, it weighs only about 7.8 kg. It comes with a back belt, a holder for your walking stick and a removable bag you can take into the shops.

Worth knowing before you buy

The 62 cm seat is too high for shorter people — if your feet don't rest flat when sitting, the 55 cm Buffalo is the better fit. At around 68 cm wide it's broader than most standard rollators, so measure narrow doorways first. If you don't need the extra weight capacity, a lighter-duty rollator will be smaller and cheaper.

It's less about height and more about leg length: sitting on the seat, your feet should be flat on the floor and your knees about level with your hips. We can help you check.
