Complete your Avon or Orwell suite with a sofa that suits you
If you love your Cosi Avon or Orwell rise and recline chair, you'll want the rest of the room to feel just as comfortable. Sinking into an old, low sofa when friends visit — and then struggling to get up — spoils the afternoon. The Cosi Avon or Orwell 2 Seater Sofa is a static sofa designed to match those two chairs, so you can have a full, coordinated suite.
It's British made, built to order, and sized to fit comfortably in a smaller lounge while still seating two.
✅ Key Features & Benefits
Made to match the Avon and Orwell chairs
Your sofa and riser chair look like they belong together, so the room feels like home rather than a care setting.49.5 cm (19½") seat height
A sensible height that's kinder on stiff knees and hips when you sit down and stand up than a low, squashy sofa.47 cm (18½") seat depth
A slightly shallower seat helps shorter people sit back with their feet still on the floor, which makes rising easier.71 cm (28") back height
Supports your back and shoulders so you can sit comfortably for a chat or a film.Space-saving 112 cm (44") overall width
Fits neatly in a flat, bungalow or smaller living room, with a 100 cm (39½") wide seat for two.Built to order in Britain
Made for you, not mass-produced for a warehouse.
Who it suits best
- Owners of a Cosi Avon or Orwell chair who want a matching suite
- Smaller living rooms where space matters
- Shorter people who prefer a less deep seat
Worth knowing before you buy
This sofa doesn't move — there's no rise or recline. If you need help to stand, look at a powered riser recliner instead. Each sofa is made to order, so it isn't an off-the-shelf purchase, and it carries a 1-year guarantee. If you're tall, you may find a deeper seat more comfortable.
