Some doorways have more than a little lip. A deep uPVC sill on a front door, or a sill that sits on top of a shallow step, can be too high for a short wedge and too awkward to tackle with a wheelchair or scooter. The longer Enable Access Doorline Multi is built for exactly that.

At 74 cm long it handles rises of up to 13 cm, spreading the climb over a longer run so the push or drive feels steadier. It hooks onto the threshold and grips the floor, so you can put it down when you go out and lift it away again afterwards.

Worth knowing before you buy

If your sill is 10 cm or less, the shorter 56 cm Doorline Multi is lighter and takes up less room. Anything over 13 cm, or a doorway with a full step, needs a longer portable or modular ramp instead. It is 70 cm wide, so check your doorway first. As a removable ramp it needs lifting away when the door shuts.

Can I leave it outside?
It is designed for indoor and outdoor use, including wet weather, but it is a removable ramp, so most people bring it in or stand it aside when the door is closed.

Will it take my scooter's weight?
Enable Access rate it to 350 kg (55 st), which includes you and the scooter together.

Can I try it at my door first?
We don't keep every ramp in stock, so please call first and we'll check. If we haven't got one in, we can usually arrange a demo model, and a home visit lets us measure up properly.
