Smooth out a low step down to the garden or patio

Lots of homes have a small drop of around 7 or 8 cm from the back door onto a patio, or a shallow step up into a porch. It is too high to bump a wheelchair over safely, and on a scooter it can feel like falling off a kerb. The Enable Access Doorline Neatedge in its 7.5 cm height bridges that gap with a firm rubber slope.

It is 60 cm long and 90 cm wide, giving a gradual climb with room for the widest wheelbase. At 18 kg it settles in place on its own, so you can leave it out and forget about it.

✅ Key Features & Benefits

• Bridges a 7.5 cm step
Turns a jarring drop onto the patio into a gentle roll, so you can get out to the garden on your own.

• 60 cm slope for a steadier ride
The longer run makes it easier for a carer to push and less of a lurch for scooter riders.

• Rated to 500 kg (79 st)
Ample for heavy electric wheelchairs, scooters and bariatric users.

• Settles in place at 18 kg
Heavy enough to feel solid as you go over it, without needing screws or brackets.

• Grippy, cushioned rubber
Feels secure under tyres and soft underfoot if you walk with a frame.

• Cut, join or glue
Trim the width to your doorway, join pieces, or fix it permanently with the optional adhesive kit.

Who it suits best

• Back doors with a small step down onto a patio or decking
• Scooter users who want to park in the garden or shed
• Carers pushing a wheelchair in and out several times a day

Worth knowing before you buy

You need about 60 cm of flat ground in front of the step for the ramp to sit on properly. If your rise is nearer 10 cm, go for the taller 10 cm Neatedge; if it is only a door lip of 5 cm, the smaller size is lighter and tidier. At 18 kg it is not something to take out and about — a folding portable ramp suits trips away better.

Questions customers ask us

Will it slide about on paving?
It is a solid rubber ramp designed to be laid loose, and if you want extra peace of mind it can be fixed down with the optional adhesive kit.

Can I see one before ordering?
We don't keep every ramp in stock, so call us first and we'll check. If it isn't in, we can usually arrange a demo model or measure up at your home.
