A 10 cm front step is a very common barrier at home. It is just high enough that a wheelchair needs tipping back, a scooter has to be driven at it, and a rollator has to be lifted. Worth knowing before you buy

A wedge is a short ramp, so the slope is steeper than a long portable ramp. Many self-propelling wheelchair users manage it, but some will want a helper or would be better with a longer ramp. Check you have around 50 cm of level ground in front of the step. If there is a uPVC sill on top of the step, a hook-on threshold ramp may sit better.

Yes. It is made to be left in place, with a grip surface designed for all weathers.

How do I know it's the right height?
Measure from the ground to the top of the step. If it is close to 10 cm, this is the size; if it falls between sizes, we can help you choose.

Can I see one before I buy?
We don't keep every size in stock, so give us a ring first and we'll check. If it isn't in, we can usually arrange a demo model or come to look at your step.
