For a lot of our customers the hardest part of using a scooter is the bit at the car — folding the frame, finding the key, fiddling with catches. The Drive DeVilbiss AutoFold Pro makes that simple. Start it with a contactless card, the remote fob or a normal key, and fold it automatically in about 20 seconds.

The folding is done in two stages, so if it's ever pressed by accident it stops halfway rather than carrying on. Add rear suspension, bright colour-changing lights and twin lightweight batteries, and you have a compact scooter that's easy to live with day to day.

Worth knowing before you buy

Folded, the AutoFold Pro still weighs about 24.5 kg without its batteries, so someone has to lift it into the boot unless you use a hoist. Its range is about 9 miles at up to 4 mph, which suits short trips rather than long days out. If you need more comfort and range for daily local journeys, a full-size pavement scooter will suit you better.
