The Drive DeVilbiss Envoy 8+ travels at up to 8 mph on the road and 4 mph on the pavement, with a range of up to 30 miles, so a round trip into town and back is no bother.

Worth knowing before you buy

The Envoy 8+ weighs about 100 kg and stays in one piece, so it isn't for taking in a car — a folding or boot scooter is the right choice for that. As a Class 3 scooter it needs registering with the DVLA, which is free, and you'll need level access and somewhere dry to store and charge it. If you only use pavements and local shops, a 4 mph pavement scooter may be simpler.

Questions customers ask us

Can I use it on the pavement too?
Yes. Class 3 scooters can go on the pavement at up to 4 mph and on the road at up to 8 mph; you simply switch modes.

Do I need a licence?
No driving licence is needed, but Class 3 scooters must be registered with the DVLA, which is free.

Can I have a test drive?
We'd encourage it. We don't keep every scooter in stock, so call us first and we'll check — if it isn't here, we can usually arrange a demo model, or come to you for a free home assessment.
