Worth knowing before you buy

It tops out at 6 mph, so for longer runs on busier roads an 8 mph scooter may suit you better. Solid tyres feel firmer than air tyres on rough ground. At about 97.5 kg it doesn't fold or come apart for a car, and it climbs slopes of up to 6°, so very steep hills are best avoided. As a Class 3 scooter it needs registering with the DVLA, which is free.

No licence is needed. Class 3 scooters must be registered with the DVLA (free), and many people choose insurance for peace of mind.
