Specifications
A comfortable pavement scooter that turns tighter and rides softer
For trips to the corner shop, the post office or the park, you don't need a big road scooter — you need something steady, comfortable and easy to steer. The Freerider Mayfair Lite does exactly that at a gentle 4 mph, with suspension front and back and good-sized 10" wheels.
It turns in a tight 107 cm circle, so narrow shop aisles and awkward corners feel less daunting, and its ground clearance of about 10 cm helps it get over dropped kerbs without scraping. A neat, lower-backed seat keeps the whole scooter compact.

Who it suits best
- Local trips on pavements, shops and parks at up to 4 mph
- You want a comfortable ride but don't need to use the road
- Riders up to 21 stone (132 kg)
- You have a shed, garage or level space to store and charge it
Worth knowing before you buy
The Mayfair Lite is a Class 2 pavement scooter, so it isn't for road use, and at about 89 kg it doesn't fold or come apart for a car boot — a portable scooter would suit you better if you need to transport it. The Navigator seat has a lower back and no headrest, so if you want more upper-back support, a model with a full captain's seat may be more comfortable. Range isn't published by Freerider, so ask us about your typical journeys.
Questions customers ask us
Can I take it on the road?
No — it's a Class 2 pavement scooter, limited to 4 mph. You can cross roads where there's no pavement, but for road riding you'd want a Class 3 scooter.
Can I sit on it before I buy?
Yes. We don't keep every model in stock, so give us a call first and we'll check — if it isn't in the showroom, we can usually arrange a demo model.
