Worth knowing before you buy

The R10's travel-friendly battery gives a range of around 17 km (11 miles) at up to 4 mph — ideal for days out, but not for long distances every day. It has a fixed seat rather than adjustable postural seating, so if you need tilt, recline or specialist support for posture, a non-folding electric wheelchair with modular seating will suit you better. At 29.7 kg it is light for a powerchair, but some people will still need help lifting it.

The R10 comes with a flight-approved 11 Ah battery. Always check with your airline before you book, as each has its own rules.

How far will it go?
Up to about 17 km (11 miles) on a full charge with the standard battery.
