The Invacare Storm4 X-Plore is an all-terrain electric wheelchair (also known as a powerchair) built to go further, with suspension on all four wheels and air-filled tyres as standard.

It still works at home too: Modulite seating set up for your body, an optional seat lift and tilt, and an easy touchscreen control. It's for people who want their chair to keep up with an active, outdoor life.

Worth knowing before you buy

The X-Plore is a large, heavy chair — 174 kg — with a turning circle of 1770 mm, so it needs good space at home and doesn't fold for a car. If you mainly stay indoors or on town pavements, a smaller compact or mid-wheel drive chair will be easier to live with. It carries users up to 150 kg (23.5 stone).
