Rise up to eye level and keep moving while you are up there

Spending the day sitting lower than everyone else can be tiring in ways people don't always notice: craning your neck to chat, asking for help to reach a shelf, or struggling to see over a shop counter. The Pride Jazzy Air 2 is an electric wheelchair, also known as a powerchair, with a seat that lifts you up to 30 cm (12 inches) at the press of a button.

The clever part is that you can still drive at up to 4 mph while raised, so you can move along a kitchen worktop, browse the shelves or walk alongside friends at their height. Mid-wheel drive keeps it nimble indoors, and suspension smooths the ride outside.

✅ Key Features & Benefits

• Power seat lift of up to 30 cm (12")
Rises in about 11 seconds so you can reach cupboards, make a cup of tea at the worktop and talk face to face, which makes a real difference to independence and confidence.

• Drive at up to 4 mph while raised
You don't have to lower the seat to move, so you can get about the kitchen, the supermarket or a party at standing height.

• Mid-wheel drive with a 61.6 cm turning radius
The chair pivots around its centre, making it easy to turn in hallways, small rooms and lifts.

• Active-Trac suspension
Helps keep all wheels in contact with the ground and soaks up bumps, so the ride is steady and comfortable indoors and out.

• High-back reclining seat in three sizes
Choose a 16, 18 or 20 inch seat with an adjustable headrest, so you are properly supported and can lean back to rest.

• Up to 24 km (15 miles) range
Enough for a busy day at home and out, then charge overnight.

• LED lights and USB charging
Lights help you see and be seen, and you can keep your phone topped up as you go.

• Storage and adjustable footrest
A storage compartment keeps essentials close, and the footrest adjusts so your legs are comfortable.

Who it suits best

• You'd like to talk with people at eye level
• Everyday use at home and around town
• Users up to 21.4 stone (136 kg)

Worth knowing before you buy

The Jazzy Air 2 weighs 91.5 kg, so it does not fold for a car boot. It comes apart for transport, but most people use a wheelchair-accessible vehicle. The raised seat is for level ground, not for driving up or down slopes. Its top speed is 4 mph, so it suits pavements and indoor use rather than longer outdoor journeys. If you need tilt-in-space for pressure care, or a chair to lift into a car, ask us about other electric wheelchairs.

Questions customers ask us

How high does the seat go?
It lifts up to 30 cm (12 inches) above its normal height, taking about 11 seconds.

Is it safe to drive while raised?
Yes, on level ground. It is designed to drive at up to 4 mph with the seat raised.

Can I try the seat lift?
Of course. We don't always have one in stock, so ring us first and we'll check. If we haven't got one in, we can usually arrange a demo model.
