Steady, comfortable everyday driving, with the option to rise up

For a lot of people, the right electric wheelchair is simply one that is easy to live with: comfortable for hours, simple to steer, and nimble enough for the narrow bits of home. The Pride Jazzy Select 6 is a mid-wheel drive electric wheelchair, also known as a powerchair, with six wheels and Pride's Active-Trac suspension for a calm, stable ride.

You can choose it with or without a powered seat lift. The lift raises you higher at the touch of a button, which helps with reaching cupboards, chatting at eye level and moving across to another seat. Either way, you get a supportive high-back seat and a straightforward joystick for getting about with confidence.

✅ Key Features & Benefits

• Optional powered seat lift
Raises you up so you can reach worktops and shelves, look people in the eye, and transfer more easily to a bed or chair at a different height.

• Mid-wheel drive with six wheels
The drive wheels sit in the middle with castors front and back, so the chair turns in a tight space and feels very stable, ideal for hallways, kitchens and bathrooms.

• Active-Trac suspension
Helps keep the ride level and smooth over uneven pavements and door thresholds, so there are fewer jolts for your back and neck.

• High-back seat with headrest
Supports your back, shoulders and head on longer days, and the seat depth adjusts to suit you.

• Adjustable armrests and foot platform
Set the chair up so your arms and legs rest naturally, which helps with posture and comfort.

• Up to 26.7 km (16.6 miles) range
Enough for errands, visits and time outdoors before you need to charge.

• 10-inch solid drive tyres
Puncture-proof, so you never have to deal with a flat tyre when you are out.

• Easy-access battery tray
Makes battery checks and changes simpler for you or your engineer.

Colours available

Who it suits best

• Everyday use around the home and on local pavements
• Homes with tight corners and narrow hallways
• You'd like a seat lift to reach things and transfer more easily
• Users up to 21.4 stone (136 kg)

Worth knowing before you buy

The Jazzy Select 6 is a full-size chair weighing 52 kg before the batteries go in, so it doesn't fold into a car boot. It is a 4 mph chair best suited to pavements, paths and indoors rather than long outdoor journeys or rough ground. If you need a chair for the car, a folding electric wheelchair is a better fit; if you need tilt or recline for pressure care, ask us about more specialist chairs.

Questions customers ask us

Do I need the seat lift?
If you struggle to reach things at home, transfer to higher surfaces, or want to be at eye level with people, many customers find it worthwhile. We can talk you through both versions.

Will it fit through my doors?
It is 59.7 cm wide, which suits most internal doorways. We are happy to measure up with you.

Can I try one?
Yes. Please call before you visit, as we don't keep every model in stock. If it isn't in the showroom, we can usually arrange a demo model.
