Sit well, push easily and stay comfortable all day
Back ache and slumping are common complaints from people who spend long days in a standard wheelchair. The Karma Ergo 3 Self-Propel tackles that with Karma's shaped Ergo Back and S-Ergo seat, including adjustable lumbar support, so you sit upright and supported rather than sliding down.
It's light for a fully featured chair at around 11.9 kg in its basic set-up, with quick-release rear wheels for pushing yourself, flip-back arms for transfers and handy pockets in the side guards. Thoughtful touches like bright orange adjustment levers make it easy to live with.

Worth knowing before you buy
The maximum user weight is 125 kg (19.7 st), but this drops to 115 kg (18 st) if the push-and-pull attendant brake is fitted. Optional anti-tippers are available if you're worried about tipping backwards on kerbs. If you need tilt or a lot of postural support, a tilt-in-space wheelchair may suit you better.
