Worth knowing before you buy

The Leon R Sling is a substantial chair — about 146 kg with its batteries — so it won't fold into a car boot. If you need to lift your chair into a car, a folding powerchair is the better route. Rear-wheel-drive chairs also need a little more room to turn than mid-wheel-drive ones, so if your home has tight hallways or a small bathroom, a mid-wheel-drive chair may suit you better. If you need more postural support, look at a chair with configurable rehab seating instead.
