When a condition changes over time, your wheelchair has to keep up. The Karma Morgan M Versus pairs a mid-wheel-drive base, which turns in a small space indoors, with Karma's Versus seating — made for progressive conditions and more complex seating needs.

It can be set up with up to four powered functions: seat lift, tilt, recline and legrests. The seat rails take most other makers' backrests and supports, so your assessor can build the seat around you and adjust it later as things change. Six-wheel suspension and crash testing mean it's as ready for trips out as it is for life at home.

Worth knowing before you buy

This is a large, heavy chair — about 164 to 187 kg with batteries — and its width ranges from about 60 to 82.5 cm depending on how it's set up, so it's worth measuring doorways and turning spaces first. It's a prescription model built to order after an assessment. If your seating needs are simpler, a chair with a sling seat is lighter, simpler and less expensive.
