Worth knowing before you buy

The Robooter E40 is not crash tested to ISO 7176-19, so it must not be used as a seat in a vehicle; you'll need to transfer to a car or taxi seat. It's designed for pavements, shops and indoors rather than rough ground. If you need to stay seated in a wheelchair-accessible vehicle, or want more outdoor ability, look at a crash-tested or larger outdoor powerchair.

Can I sit in it in a wheelchair taxi?
No. It isn't crash tested for use as a vehicle seat, so you'll need to transfer to a proper seat for the journey.
