The Ki Mobility Rogue ALX is a rigid active wheelchair built from 7000-series aluminium, so your effort goes into moving forward rather than into a frame that flexes.

It is built to your measurements and set up around your body, and with the rear wheels off it weighs around 5 kg to lift into the car. Pick your frame colour too, so it feels like your chair, not equipment.

Worth knowing before you buy

A rigid chair doesn't fold in half like a transit chair — the backrest folds down and the wheels pop off instead. That suits confident users who load their own chair, but if you need a frame that folds side to side, or you'll mostly be pushed by someone else, a folding active chair or a lightweight transit chair would suit you better. Because it's built to order, it needs measuring first.
