A simple, practical powerchair that folds down for the car

Being pushed everywhere, or staying home because walking is too much, wears down your independence. The Kymco VIVIO is a straightforward folding powerchair that gives you your own control around the house and on trips out, then dismantles and folds to fit into most vehicles.

It travels up to 20 miles on a charge at up to 4 mph, enough for a morning in town or an afternoon at the garden centre. Puncture-proof tyres front and back mean no flat tyres to worry about, and a removable kerb climber helps over small kerbs.

✅ Key Features & Benefits

• Dismantles and folds for most vehicles
Take your powerchair with you on visits, holidays and days out, rather than relying on borrowed chairs when you arrive.

• Up to 20 miles (32 km) on a charge
A full day's errands without hunting for a socket, so you can plan your day around what you want to do.

• Puncture-proof tyres all round
No flats, no pumping up, no getting stranded. One less thing to think about.

• Swing-away, adjustable joystick
Move it aside to pull right up to a table or desk, and set it where your hand rests comfortably.

• Tension-adjustable backrest with comfort cushion
The backrest can be tightened or loosened to support your back the way you need, helpful if you sit for long spells.

• Adjustable armrests and footrests
Width- and height-adjustable armrests and angle- and depth-adjustable footrests help the chair fit you properly, so you sit comfortably with good support.

• Removable kerb climber
Helps the chair up small kerbs and door thresholds with less of a bump.

Colours available

Golden Lemon or Metallic Mink.

Who it suits best

• People looking for a simple first powerchair
• Indoor use plus trips to the shops and around town
• Families who need a chair that can go in the car
• Users up to 21.4 stone (136 kg)

Worth knowing before you buy

The VIVIO weighs 68 kg including its batteries, so even though it folds and dismantles, loading it is a job for two people or a car hoist. Its top speed is 4 mph and it has no lights fitted, so it's best for daytime use on pavements and indoors. If you need something one person can lift, look at a lightweight lithium folding powerchair instead.
