Fold it, lift it and go — even if your hands aren't what they were

When a scooter is heavy or fiddly, it tends to stay in the hallway. The Monarch Supa Carbon Lite is designed to be the one that actually comes with you. Its carbon fibre frame weighs about 13 kg without the battery, it folds by hand in one go, and it starts with a simple tap of a card instead of a small key.

It's a good fit if you travel by car, coach, cruise ship or plane and want something you or a partner can lift without strain. Suspension front and back softens bumpy pavements, so a long walk round a market or a holiday resort feels far less tiring.

✅ Key Features & Benefits

  • Carbon fibre frame — about 13 kg to lift
Light enough for many people to lift into a car boot themselves. A real help if you have a weak back or shoulders, or you're the partner doing the lifting.

  • Tap-to-start NFC card
Hold the card near the scooter and it switches on. No small key to grip and twist — easier if arthritis has made your fingers stiff.

  • Magnetic charging lead
The charger clicks on with a magnet rather than a tight plug, which is kinder on sore hands and limited dexterity.

  • Suspension front and rear
Takes the sting out of cracked paving and dropped kerbs, so fewer jolts reach your back and hips.

  • Battery approved for air, coach and cruise travel
The 10Ah lithium battery is the travel-friendly kind, so the scooter can come on holiday. Always check with your airline or operator before you book.

  • USB charging port
Keep your phone topped up while you're out, so you can always call home or check the bus times.

  • LED lights and digital display
You're easier to see on dull days, and you can check your battery at a glance.

  • Solid puncture-proof tyres
Nothing to pump up and no flats to deal with far from home.

Colours available

Grey.

Who it suits best

  • Frequent travellers who need the lightest possible lift into a car
  • People with stiff or painful hands who struggle with keys and plugs
  • Holidays, cruises, shopping centres and smooth pavements
  • Riders up to 19 stone (120 kg)

Worth knowing before you buy

This is a travel scooter first. The range is up to 9 miles and the top speed is 4 mph, with small solid wheels, so it's best on pavements, shop floors and holiday paths rather than grass or gravel. The seat is compact too. If you need a roomier seat, a longer range or something for rougher ground, a larger pavement scooter will suit you better.

Questions customers ask us

Can I take it on a plane or a cruise?
Monarch says the battery is approved for air, coach and cruise travel. Rules differ between companies, so please check with yours before you travel.

What do I actually have to lift?
About 13 kg for the folded frame once the battery is out. The battery itself weighs around 2.5 kg.

Can I see it fold before I buy?
Yes. We don't keep every model in stock, so give us a call first and we'll check it's in the showroom — and if it isn't, we can usually arrange a demo model for you. You can also book a free home assessment.
