Worth knowing before you buy

The Xcite is a full-size road scooter. The chassis stays in one piece and with standard batteries it weighs 103.8 kg, so it can't go in a car boot; a folding or boot scooter is the answer if you need that. Its slope rating is 6 degrees, so if your area is very steep, ask us about scooters rated for steeper hills. Class 3 scooters must be registered with the DVLA, free of charge.

Should I choose standard or lithium batteries?
Standard batteries give up to 25 miles and suit most people's daily trips. Lithium takes you up to 45 miles and makes the scooter around 18 kg lighter, worth it if you travel far.

Can I add a canopy?

What's the warranty?
5 years, with 3 years on the battery.
