Specifications
Comes apart into light pieces, with a smooth ride you wouldn't expect
Many small car-boot scooters are light but bumpy, or comfortable but heavy. The One Rehab Illusion manages both: its aircraft-grade aluminium frame splits into parts where the heaviest weighs just 9.9 kg, yet it still has suspension front and back to soften the ride.
That makes it a lovely choice if you want to pop the scooter in the car for a trip to the coast, the shops or a family visit without needing help. Choose the 10Ah Standard battery for up to 10 miles, or the 21Ah Endurance battery for up to 20 miles when you want longer days out.

Who it suits best
- People who need to lift a scooter into the car on their own
- Days out, shopping and holidays
- Riders up to 18 stone (115 kg)
- Anyone who wants a light scooter that's still comfortable
Worth knowing before you buy
The Illusion is a compact travel scooter. Its user limit is 18 stone (115 kg), it has 5.5 cm ground clearance and small 200 mm wheels, and it manages gentle slopes of up to 6°. That makes it best on pavements and level paths, not grass, gravel or steep hills. If you're heavier, or you need more legroom and bigger wheels, a mid-size boot scooter or pavement scooter would be a better fit.
Questions customers ask us
Which battery should I choose?
If your trips are short — round the shops and back — the 10Ah Standard (up to 10 miles) is plenty. If you like longer days out, the 21Ah Endurance gives up to 20 miles and adds only about 1.5 kg to the scooter.
Is it on the Motability Scheme?
Yes, both the Illusion and the Illusion Endurance are listed on Motability. Ask us to check the current rates.
Can I see it come apart before I buy?
Yes. We don't keep every model in stock, so give us a call first and we'll check it's in the showroom — and if it isn't, we can usually arrange a demo model for you. You can also book a free home assessment.
