So you can drive to a new town, a seaside promenade or a relative's house, put it back together and travel on the road at up to 8 mph when you get there. A light aluminium frame, suspension front and back and lithium batteries keep it practical and comfortable.

Worth knowing before you buy

The KRS800 is light for a road scooter, but its heaviest section is still 17 kg, so lifting it in and out of a car isn't for everyone. The user limit is 19 stone (120 kg), lower than larger road scooters. If you never need to take it in the car, a full-size road scooter gives more range and a roomier seat; if lifting is your main worry, a 4 mph boot scooter with lighter parts will be easier.

Questions customers ask us

Can I really use it on the road?
Yes. It's a Class 3 scooter, so up to 8 mph on the road and 4 mph on the pavement. It needs registering with the DVLA, and we'll help you do that.

Which battery should I choose?
The 21Ah gives up to 15 miles and the 34Ah up to 25 miles. If you'll use it for longer road trips, the 34Ah is worth considering.

Can I see it come apart before I buy?
