A compact, comfortable chair that's easy to live with at home

If tight hallways, small rooms and furniture make getting about indoors a daily battle, a compact electric wheelchair (also known as a powerchair) can make home feel open again. The Karma Blazer Sling is a mid-wheel drive chair, so it turns in a very small space, and it's equally happy on the pavement to the shops.

This pre-owned Blazer Sling in blue comes with a 3-month warranty. It has a sling backrest you can adjust for tension to suit your posture, a swing-away joystick so you can pull right up to a table, and a flip-up footplate that makes standing and transfers easier.

✅ Key Features & Benefits

• Mid-wheel drive with a 64 cm turning radius

Who it suits best

• You mostly use your chair at home and on local pavements
• Your home has narrow doorways or tight corners
• You'd like a good-value pre-owned electric wheelchair

Worth knowing before you buy

The Blazer Sling has a top speed of 4 mph and two 36 Ah batteries, so it's built for home and local trips rather than long outings or rough countryside; an outdoor chair with bigger batteries would suit those better. It weighs about 75 kg in total, with the heaviest part around 36 kg, so it isn't a lift-into-the-boot chair. It carries users up to 21 stone (136 kg). A power tilt-in-space module is available for this model, so please ask us whether this chair has one.
