The Pride GoGo Endurance is a compact boot scooter with a light lithium battery and Pride's Comfort-Trac suspension, so you get the convenience of a scooter that comes apart without the bone-shaking ride.

• Comfort-Trac suspension
  Takes the edge off bumpy paving and dropped kerbs, which is kinder to a sore back, stiff neck or painful hips than a scooter with no suspension at all.

• Light lithium battery, two sizes
  The standard 8 Ah pack is light to lift and is described by Pride as airline-compliant. Choose the 16 Ah pack and you roughly double the distance — up to about 13 miles.

• Feather-touch take-apart
  The scooter separates quickly for the car boot, and the heaviest piece is under 18 kg, so loading it is far less of a struggle.

• Delta tiller with wraparound handles
  You steer with your whole hand rather than pinching small levers — helpful if arthritis or weak grip makes fiddly controls tiring.

• Charge on or off the scooter
  Plug in where it's parked, or lift the battery out and charge it indoors if the scooter lives in the car or garage.

• Two seat sizes
  Pick the standard 17" seat or the roomier 20" seat if you'd like more space to sit comfortably.

Worth knowing before you buy

The GoGo Endurance is a 4 mph pavement scooter. Its suspension helps, but small solid wheels and a low ground clearance mean it isn't built for grass, gravel or rough tracks. The frame weighs about 41 kg before the battery goes on, so even in pieces you'll need to be able to lift around 18 kg. If you want to ride further, faster or over rougher ground, a mid-size or road scooter will suit you better; if lifting is the main worry, a lighter folding scooter is worth a look.

Can I take it on a plane?
Pride describe the standard 8 Ah lithium battery as airline-compliant. Always check with your airline before you book, as each has its own rules.

How far will it go?
Pride quote up to 6.6 miles on the 8 Ah battery and up to 13.2 miles on the 16 Ah battery. Rider weight, hills and cold weather all affect this.

Can I try it first?
Yes. Give us a call first to check it's in stock, then bring your car and we'll check it fits in the boot. If it isn't in, we can usually arrange a demo model.
